All about Leaves activity booklet
Let the little ones learn about the different trees in the gardens in a creative way

Trees provide shade thanks to their foliage. If you have small children, the All about Leaves activity booklet is a hands-on, fun way for them to learn about the trees growing in the gardens.
How does it work? Around the gardens are ten short, stone pillars, tailored to the height of small children, with reliefs of leaves of the different trees, displaying their names in Hebrew and in Latin. Using a pencil, crayon or chalk, you can copy the leaves and their names to one of the blank pages in the activity booklet by pressing the page to the pillar and rubbing the pencil or crayon over it. In this activity, the little children are supposed to search the gardens to find the pillars with the reliefs, and thus have more fun along the way.
At the end of the activity you can take the booklet home with you as a souvenir.
The booklet can be purchased together with colorful chalk for a small price (5 NIS) at the InfoShop in the Visitors Pavilion.
